Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 204-Quill You Be My Valentine
It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I used the sketch along with some stamps and dies from Paper Smooches to make a Valentine’s Day card.
I used the cupid from the Love Struck set as my focal image. He’s colored with Copic markers and cut out with the matching die from the Love Struck Icons set, then adhered to the light blue background panel with dimensional dots. The “quill you be my Valentine” sentiment is stamped next to the image in red pigment ink.
I matted the image panel on a contrasting red cardstock piece, then added it to a piece of arrow patterned paper over a trio of cardstock strips, rescued from my scrap pile. A pair of white enamel dots is attached to the cardfront, just under the image panel.
To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
