For a few days this week, it seemed like spring might finally be here. Just one little patch of snow remained on my front lawn and it was warm enough to leave my jacket at home. This morning, winter seems to have made a return, so the only sign of spring around here today is this card I put together for the current AEI♥U embellishment challenge.

For embellishments, I used a button and some sequins. The button was threaded with pink twine and adhered to the layered leaves. I scattered a trio of white sequins around the bottom of the card. It doesn't show in the photo, but the white actually picks up the pinks of the card--so pretty IRL!
Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Avery Elle Modern Leaves stamp set, Crafter's Companion ultrasmooth white cardstock, Tsukineko Memento Luxe Pear Tart and Rose Bud inks, Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 paper pad, Hemptique Spring Bloom 2 twine, white sequins, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots
other: Sea Glass and Pixie cardstock (Avery Elle); green button (Michaels)
You guys have certainly had your share of winter this year, haven't you? But this card is enough to make anyone happy that spring is just around the corner . . . hopefully! Thanks so much for playing with us at the Avery Elle AEI♥U Challenge! We're so glad you did!
