Thanks Chickie

I’m joining in on this month’s Waltzingmouse Stamps Pajama Party with this card using the new WMS Funky Feathers dies and the current Deconstructed Sketch. I love the Funky Feathers set and was thrilled to get dies to match the feathers!

Thanks Chickie-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Waltzingmouse Stamps
I stamped a pair of feathers on white cardstock using yellow and blue pigment inks, then cut out the feathers with the matching die. The colors of the feathers match the patterned papers from the Fancy Pants Park Bench collection that I used for some of the panels on the cardfront. They’re arranged over the layered paper panels, using foam tape to give the top feather a little dimension. I stamped the set’s “thanks chickie” sentiment on one of the solid cardstock panels in blue pigment ink. After matting the stack of layered panels on gray cardstock, I adhered it to the blue card base. I added a few coordinating lemony yellow and aqua blue sequins around the panel for a little bit of sparkle to finish the card.

Materials Used:
Funky Feathers stamp set, Funky Feathers dies (Waltzingmouse Stamps); Lake House cardstock (WPlus9); Aquamarine ink, Fog and Silver Fox cardstock (Avery Elle); Memento Luxe Dandelion ink (Tsukineko); white cardstock (Michaels); Park Bench 6x paper pad (Fancy Pants); Aquamarine and Lemon Drop sequins (Pretty Pink Posh); corner rounder; foam tape
