For the Record

Here's my card for the current confetti themed Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.  I took my inspiration from the big, round, sherbet colored confetti circles in the inspiration photo as well as the angular shape of the cones holding the confetti.

To bring in the colorful circle element, I found some patterned paper with a multicolored dot pattern.  I cut one end of the paper on an angle, then matted it on contrasting teal cardstock before adhering it to an aqua cardbase.

The "for the record, you rock" sentiment is from challenge sponsor Reverse Confetti's Inner Rock Star stamp set.  I stamped it in trendy gold on a strip die cut with Reverse Confetti's Tag Me die set.  The sentiment is adhered to the dotted panel and anchored by a die cut sparkly gold star.  I finished the design with a trio of matching gold sequins.
