No Road Is too Long

Here's a fun friendship themed card based on the current Deconstructed Sketch.  I used the Besties stamp set and matching cut files from The Cat's Pajamas for this one.

No Road Is too Long card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from The Cat's PajamasI stamped the bicycling penguins on the matching shape I cut with my Silhouette, then colored the image a bit with Copic markers.  It's adhered to a round light blue panel with a curvy gray "road" at the bottom, made with the CutUps Holiday Toppers die.  The die was originally meant to make a winter snowbank, but it works perfectly here!

The image panel is adhered over a piece of arrow patterned paper along with a smaller circle and a banner strip cut with the CutUps Framed Up 2 die.  I stamped the set's "no road is too long if the company is good" sentiment underneath the patterned paper panel.  After edging the bottom of the green panel with a pale yellow cardstock strip, I adhered it to a pale gray card base.  The card base is hard to see in the photo, but it's there!  I just got a new computer and I'm still working on adjusting to the new programs and settings--and it's definitely showing in my photos . . .

Materials Used:
Besties stamp set, CutUps Framed Up 2 and Holiday Toppers dies (The Cat's Pajamas); Versafine Onyx Black ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Factory Green, Steel Grey, and Grout Gray cardstock (My Favorite Things); Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, and Brocade Blue cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Adventure 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); circle dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
