You and Me
Here’s my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch. I made a love themed design in a classic color scheme using new stamps and dies from My Favorite Things.
I stamped the words “you” and “me” from the Always and Forever set in gray pigment ink on a white pierced circle panel, then added a contrasting red ampersand die cut with one of the new Ampersands dies. The sentiment panel is placed at the middle of a light gray panel with pieces of elegant gray scalloped patterned papers at each side.
I ran a narrow strip of dark gray cardstock across the sentiment panel just underneath the stamped text, then added a pair of hearts cut with the Staggered Heart Border die. The gray heart on top is adhered with foam tape for a little dimension. It should still be easy enough to mail, though. The finished panel was adhered to a contrasting dark gray card base.
Materials Used:
Always and Forever stamp set, Grout Gray and Steel Grey cardstock, Die-namics Ampersand and Pierced Circle Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (Tsukineko); Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Head over Heels Tiny Tablet (Lily Bee Design); foam tape

This is lovely. Very clean and simple. I love the red heart. It really anchors the card.
