I Ruff You

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used Lawn Fawn's sweet Critters at the Dog Park stamp set and matching dies for my love-themed design.

I stamped one of the dog images on white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers, then used the matching die to cut it out.  It's adhered to a background panel made from a piece of blue striped patterned paper.  To ground the image, I ran a strip of  green dotted patterned paper cut with a grass border punch over the circle.  The "I ruff you" sentiment was stamped on a blue cardstock strip in black ink and adhered over the image panel. To go with my love theme, I found a solid heart image in the #awesome stamp set and stamped it above the dog in red pigment ink.  It adds a nice pop of contrasting color to the sweet design.
