Thanks Matey
Here's my card for the current Card Concept color challenge. I made my clean and layered card using the current Mojo Monday sketch.
I took a little inspiration from the anchor patterned fabric seen in the challenge inspiration photo. I used the "thanks matey" sentiment from the Waltzingmouse Stamps Ocean Bound stamp set along with a navy anchor die cut to bring in the nautical imagery.
I covered a navy panel with a piece of teal striped paper and a wide red cardstock strip. The sentiment panel was matted on black cardstock to set it off from the background panels, then layered on top. I adhered the finished panel to an easy to write on white card base.
Materials Used:
Ocean Bound stamp set (Waltzingmouse Stamps); Memento Luxe Love Letter ink (Tsukineko); Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); anchor die (Lifestyle Crafts); Die-namics Pierced Square Stax die (My Favorite Things); foam tape
