Here's my card for the current AEI♥U challenge to use kraft. There's not much kraft on my card, but the little there is is an important part of my design!
I stamped the sweet bunny from the Storybook set in dark brown ink on kraft cardstock, then used the matching die to cut it out. By the way, this super cute set is now back in stock at i {heart} papers--and IHP is now back open for business, so be sure to stop by! I used dimensional dots to attach the bunny to a blue cardstock panel over a little piece of green cardstock that I punched with a grass border punch.
To go with the nighttime feel I was trying to create, I debossed a yellow circle with a dotted pattern. I adhered it to the blue panel, tucking it underneath the bunny's head so it looks like the bunny is looking up at the moon. The "wish" big" sentiment was stamped in navy ink on a kraft strip and adhered to the panel so it overlapped part of the moon. For a bit of sparkle, I added a few silver sequin "stars" over the big moon.
Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Avery Elle Story Book stamp set and Storybook dies; Tsukineko Memento Espresso Truffle ink and Memento Luxe Nautical Blue ink; silver sequins; Sticky Thumb dimensional dots
other: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, and Bashful Blue cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Lemon Tart cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); Grass border punch (Fiskars)
This is sooo cute!!!
