With Gratitude
Here's my card for this week's Muse challenge. I was inspired by Therese's layout and multilayered stamped images.
After a check of my stamp collection and the realization that I don't have many two step floral images that would lend themselves to the look I had in mind, I decided to do a fall take on the challenge. I've also been wanting to play with my Radiant Neon inks a bit more and thought this would be a good opportunity to do that. Yes, I used neon inks on this fall card! The Electric Yellow ink looks more muted when stamped on the kraft cardstock, doesn't it?
After stamping one of the solid leaves from Papertrey Ink's Leaf Print repeatedly with the yellow ink, I stamped the detail layer on top in brown pigment ink. Pretty! The "with gratitude" sentiment from the Lovely Leaves set was stamped next to the leaves in the same brown ink. I matted the finished stamped panel on dark brown cardstock, then adhered it to a golden yellow card base.
Materials Used:
Leaf Prints and Lovely Leaves stamp sets, Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa and Radiant Neon Electric Yellow inks (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Chocolate Chip cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah)

These inks look amazing and so does your card Lori!
ReplyDeleteThe neon ink does make you leaves look like a fall color. Very nice thinking to create a card using what you have.
