Feel Better

Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used the sketch to make a get well card with Lawn Fawn's On the Mend stamp set.

Feel Better card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn Fawn
I stamped the set's tissue box on a scrap of yellow cardstock. After cutting it out, I used a craft knife to cut a slit in the top of the box.  I tucked a tiny piece of white tissue paper inside the slit to look like there was a tissue popping out of the box.

I used a piece of cheery floral paper to make the backdrop for my tissue box. After topping the patterned paper panel with a strip of white faux suede ribbon, I used a dimensional dot to add the tissue box on top.  The set's "feel better" sentiment was stamped beneath the patterned paper panel in black ink.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papersLawn Fawn On the Mend stamp set; Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Pink Paislee Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad; May Arts white faux suede ribbon; Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Lakehouse cardstock (WPlus9); Regal Rose cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); white tissue
