This week's blogger challenge theme is leaves. I put together this texture filled design with a little inspiration from the current Curtain Call challenge and this week's sketch at Retro Sketches.

To make a backdrop for the leaf, I die cut a large stitched circle from a kraft cardstock panel. The panel was backed with a piece of burlap, then wrapped with some orange twine. I stamped the "give thanks" sentiment from the Falling Leaves set in brown ink on the kraft panel, then added the leaf on top. The panel was adhered to a piece of cream cardstock, then adhered to a dark brown card base.
Materials Used:
Leaf Prints and Falling Leaves stamp sets, Leaf Prints dies (Papertrey Ink); Memento Luxe Toffee Crunch and Rich Cocoa ink (Tsukineko); Fizz ink (Avery Elle); Pumpkin Pie and Close to Cocoa cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); stitched circle die (Lil' Inker Designs); burlap (Michaels); orange baker's twine (Divine Twine)
