Sending You Monster Hugs

The current Lawnscaping challenge is to create a Halloween card or a card in a Halloween color scheme.  I used Lawn Fawn's cute Monster Mash set and the current Mojo Monday sketch to put this sweet design together.  It could be a Halloween card, but it could also work for other times or occasions.

Monster Hugs card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn
I adhered a green strip across a kraft cardstock panel, then added an orange dotted paper panel on top.  Once the panels were in place, I added one of the Monster Mash creatures to the top of the patterned paper panel.  The monster was colored with Copic markers, then cut with the matching die and adhered to the card with dimensional dots.  I stamped the "sending you monster hugs" sentiment on the patterned paper panel in black pigment ink.  A few super sparkly silver sequins completed the design.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers:  Lawn Fawn Monster Mash stamp set and Monster Mash dies; Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink; Doodlebug Design Happy Camper 6x6 paper pad; silver sequins; Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); Simply Chartreuse cardstock (Papertrey Ink)
