Love Struck

Here's a simple, sweet design inspired by the current Curtain Call Inspiration challenge.  The inspiration photo had a love theme, so I used the cute little cupid from the Paper Smooches Love Struck set as the focal point for my design.  And, since it's an Anything Goes week at Paper Smooches SPARKS, this is also my entry for the SPARKS challenge.

Love Struck card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper SmoochesI stamped the cupid on white cardstock, then cut him out with the matching die from the Love Struck Icons die set.  He's colored with Copic markers, except for a little paper piecing on his outfit.  The heart patterned paper was perfect with the card's love theme!  It doesn't show in the photo, but I added a little sparkle to his wings with a clear Wink of Stella pen.  I love those pens!  They make adding a glittery look so easy.

I used dimensional dots to attach him to a blue card base with a strip of shimmery white "clouds" along the bottom.  I stamped the set's "love struck" sentiment next to the cupid in black ink, then added a trio of hearts, stamped in pink pigment ink, next to him.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers:  Paper Smooches Love Struck stamp set and Love Struck Icons dies; Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Avery Elle Pixie ink; Pink Paislee Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad; Wink of Stella clear glitter pen; Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Cool Caribbean and Shimmery White cardstock (Stampin' Up!)
