TCP Tuesday 277-I Need a Hug

It's time for a new TCP Tuesday challenge at The Cat's Pajamas!  Nancy is our hostess for this round and she's assembled this fabulous inspiration collage to use as the starting point for our project.

I Need a Hug card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from The Cat's Pajamas
I used the current Deconstructed Sketch to put together this seasonally spooky design using the Mwahh! set.  I stamped the zombie image on a white panel, then colored it with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from the new Boo Y'All set.  To bump up the spook factor, I stamped the spider web from the new Vintage Halloween set in the upper right corner of the image panel.

After matting the image on black cardstock, I adhered it to a green panel with a strip of multicolored chevron patterned paper along the top. I tucked a pair of purple circles underneath the image panel, then added an orange banner strip, cut with the banner die from the CutUps Framed Up 2 set, at the edge of the panel.  It's topped with a black button tied with a bit of baker's twine.

I hope you'll join us for the challenge. Link up your finished project on the TCP blog for a chance to win some Cat Cash to spend at TCP--and to be in the running to be our next Swanky Stamper. The Swanky Stamper is selected from among all of the month's challenge entries and gets a selection of stamps from an upcoming release and joins the Cat Pack for our Pajama Party and Blog Hop. You can find all the details--and more inspiration from the Cat Pack--on the TCP blog.
