You Tickle My Fancy

Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge.  Using patterned paper helped pull this design together pretty quickly.

You Tickle My Fancy card-designed by Lor Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from My Favorite Things
I picked a trendy triangle pattern in shades of pink and blue. The patterned paper squares were arranged on a blue cardstock panel.  I topped the panel with a pair of blue die cut feathers.  The "you tickle my fancy" sentiment from the Right on Target set was stamped in Bubblegum ink on a pale pink cardstock strip.  I adhered the strip over the patterned paper squares, tucking the end underneath the feathers.  A few blue sequins scattered around the card added a touch of sparkle to the simple design.  I matted the panel on pink cardstock, then adhered it to a light blue card base.

Materials  Used:
Right on Target stamp set, Bubblegum ink, Die-namics Feather and Arrow dies (My Favorite Things); Soft Sky, Baja Breeze, and Blushing Bride cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Felicity 6x6 paper pad (Glitz Design); light blue sequins (Treehouse Studio); foam tape
