HB2U

Here's a masculine birthday card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch.  The mix of graphic patterns and die cut accents along with the bold sentiment work perfectly for a masculine design.

HB2U card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Clear and Simple Stamps
I combined two patterns from a My Mind's Eye paper pad on the blue cardfront.  I topped the panels with a cream panel stamped with a pair of sentiments from the Clear and Simple Stamps Rag Doll Chloe:  HB2U stamp set.  After adhering the sentiment panel to the cardfront, I placed the kraft Favor Flags die cut on top, then added a contrasting red strip across the length of the card.  A die cut gold star was final element.  It's not too sparkly for a masculine card, right?

Materials Used:
Rag Doll Chloe:  HB2U stamp set, True Blue Fan ink, My Favorite Blue Jeans, Rouge Ruffles, Creme de la Creme, and 24 Karat Gold cardstock, Shapes:  Stars and Favor Flags dies (Clear and Simple Stamps); Adventure 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); foam tape
