Pray for Snow

Sneaky Peek week continues today at The Cat's Pajamas with the first look at the new Pray for Snow set, coming Tuesday, November 25.  This release includes seven new stamp sets, four new CutUps die sets, and two new Cutables cut (or print and cut) files.

The layout for my card is based on the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I colored the skiing penguin with Copic markers, then set him on a snowy backdrop over a shimmery white slope cut with one of TCP's CutUps Holiday Toppers dies.  I stamped the set's "pray for snow" sentiment on the patterned paper panel in navy blue ink.   A few silver sequin "snowflakes" add a little sparkle to the scene.

I also dressed up the inside of the card using the set's other penguin image and the new CutUps Pop Up Pivot die.  I made a little bit of ice for the penguin from a shimmery white circle, then set the penguin on top using the pivot die
