Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 246-Wrapped in Peace, Hope, and Love

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  This week's sketch calls for a square card, so I whipped up this seasonal 4 1/4" square design.

Wrapped in Peace, Hope, and Love card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Clear and Simple Stamps
I curved the top corners of a red cardstock panel, then stamped a sentiment from the Clear and Simple Stamps All Wrapped Up stamp set on it in silver ink.  I know I say this pretty much every time I use this sentiment, but it just might be my very favorite holiday card sentiment ever!  For extra sparkle, I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.

After adhering the panel to a kraft card base, I ran a strip of contrasting black cardstock across the cardfront.  I accented it with a single sparkly silver snowflake, cut with one of CSS's Flurries dies.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
