TCP Tuesday 279-Merry Everything
It's time for a new TCP Tuesday challenge at The Cat's Pajamas! This week's theme is anything goes, so there's no excuse to not play along with the Cat Pack.
I took my inspiration for this card from the current Fusion Card Challenge. I used both the sketch and the soft blues when I put my card together. I adhered a strip of pale blue patterned paper to a white card base, then layered a plain cardstock strip in a darker shade of blue on top.
The paper panels are topped with a sparkly snowflake, cut from glitter paper using TCP's CutUps Snowflake die. There's a clear crystal at the center for even more sparkle. I stamped the "merry everything and happy holidays" sentiment from the Merry Everything set on the patterned paper panel in blue ink, then layered the finished panel on a blue card base.
I hope you'll join us for the challenge. Link up your finished project on the TCP blog for a chance to win some Cat Cash to spend at TCP--and to be in the running to be our next Swanky Stamper. The Swanky Stamper is selected from among all of the month's challenge entries and gets a selection of stamps from an upcoming release and joins the Cat Pack for our Pajama Party and Blog Hop. You can find all the details--and more inspiration from the Cat Pack--on the TCP blog.
Materials Used:
Merry Everything stamp set, CutUps Snowflake die (The Cat's Pajamas); Aquamarine ink (Avery Elle); Hawaiian Shores cardstock (Papertrey Ink); aqua glitter cardstock (Michaels); Frosty Friends 6x6 paper pad (Doodlebug Designs); foam tape
