Color Throwdown 323-I'm Here for You

It's time for another Color Throwdown!  It's my turn to be the challenge hostess this week and I've chosen this pretty color palette based on a set on non-traditional holiday cards in shades of pale pink, rose, kraft, and green.

I'm Here for You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from My Favorite Things
I used a new stamp set from My Favorite Things along with the current sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch for my card.  The scribbly circle from the  Whimsical Wishes set was stamped randomly in pink pigment ink on a cream panel, then heat embossed with pink embossing powder.  After embossing, I used an ink applicator and pale pink distress ink to fill in the circles to make them into flowers.  Each "flower" was dotted at the center with a solid circle of green pigment ink.  I matted the finished panel on kraft cardtock, then adhered it to a pale pink card base.  The set's "I'm here for you" sentiment was stamped in cream ink on a green cardstock strip, then heat embossed with cream embossing powder before it was adhered to the cardfront.

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. Just be sure that the challenge colors are the dominant ones in your project. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD323.

Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team, our December guestie, Sue Lelli, and this week’s guest star stamper, Rosemary Dennis.
