You Light up My Life

Here's my card for the current sketch at Retro Sketches.  I couldn't let the holiday season pass without having everyone's favorite big-eared bunny from The Cat's Pajamas make one final appearance decked out in holiday lights!

I colored the stamped image from the All Is Bright set with Copic markers, then used foam tape to adhere it to a white panel.  The set's "you light up my life" sentiment was stamped at the top of the panel in red ink.  I edged the panel with a strip of festive striped paper that coordinated with the colors of the lights.  To hide the seam between the two panels, I die cut a green decorative strip using TCP's CutUps Queen of Hearts die, then added that along with a narrow red cardstock strip.  The finished panel was adhered to a green card base.
