One Sheet Wonder, Take Two

Here's my second card for this month's Viva la Verve one sheet wonder challenge. This time, I did a little paper piecing on my card.

I used the sweet mitten pair from Verve's Winter Mittens set on my image panel.  The mittens were stamped on scraps of plum and light blue cardstock, then pieced together.  After attaching one end of a piece of twine to each of the mittens, I arranged them on the round panel using foam tape.  The "winter wishes" sentiment was stamped beneath them in plum ink.

The image panel was layered over the panel of mitten patterned paper.  I cut notches into one of the narrow light blue damask strips and adhered it across the top of the patterned paper panel, then tucked the two other strips beneath the image panel, extending out at an angle.

Materials Used:
Winter Mittens stamp set (Verve Stamps); Memento Sweet Plum ink (Tsukineko); Bashful Blue and Perfect Plum cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Winter Wishes 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); circle die (Spellbinders); gray twine (Hemptique); foam tape
