Paper Smooches SPARKS--Hope Your Day Rocks

This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is a Picture Perfect challenge based on the picture shown above (credit).  I took my inspiration from the "rocks" in the necklace and the earthy color scheme to put together this card.

I made a little scene using the triceratops and rocks from the Cuteasaurus stamp set.  The dino was paper pieced using scraps of plaid cardstock.  The pieces were adhered to a blue panel with a debossed dot pattern and a strip of green torn paper grass along the bottom.  I stamped the "hope your day rocks" sentiment from the Beboppin set on a brown hand-cut fishtail flag strip. After wrapping it with some twine, I set the flag on the left side of the scene.  The finished panel was adhered to a kraft card base.
