The Challenge 20-Bundled up with Warm Wishes

The Challenge is back with a new sketch and color combination!  We're also thrilled to be welcoming a new team member, Kim Heggins, a new featured designer for December, Kristie Goulet, and a guest designer, Betty Wright.  Lots of talent here!

Bundled up with Warm Wishes card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from The Cat's Pajamas
I combined the sketch and the colors for my card, which uses one of the newest releases from The Cat's Pajamas.  I colored the sheep duo from the sweet Melt My Ice set just a bit with Copic markers, then used foam tape to adhere them to the edge of the sentiment panel.  The sentiment panel features a sparkly white snowbank at the bottom, cut with TCP's CutUps Holiday Toppers die.  I stamped the sentiment directly on the white cardstock in navy ink.  Now that I'm looking at the card again, I think I would have been happier with it if I'd embossed the light blue part of the sentiment panel with a dot or snowflake pattern . . .

Anyway, I adhered the sentiment panel to a navy card base over a sweater-like patterned paper strip.  The patterned paper strip was matted on red to set it off from the card base just a bit.
