Wood You Be Mine
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge. I went super simple on this love themed design using the Wood You Be Mine set.
I die cut a round opening in a piece of kraft cardstock. After setting the panel on a cream card base, I stamped the set's round woodgrain image inside the opening using kraft pigment ink. The woodgrain circle was accented with a single red heart, adhered with foam tape for dimension.
For the sentiment, I combined sections from two of the set's sentiments across the three red strips. The clear stamps were easy to ink selectively to get just the words I wanted exactly where I wanted them.
Materials Used:
Wood You Be Mine stamp set, Die-namics Staggered Heart Border die (My Favorite Things); Memento Luxe Toffee Crunch and Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah); stitched circle die (Lil' Inker Designs); foam tape
