Watch Where You're Pointing That Thing
Here's my card for this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. The simple, layered layout was perfect for showing off the big eared bunny turned Cupid from The Cat's Pajamas.
I colored the cupid bunny with Copic markers and carefully cut him out using a combination of scissors and a craft knife. I planned to give the wings a little sparkle with a Wink of Stella pen, but forgot to do that before I took this picture, so just imagine they are sparkly, okay?
I layered a trio of paper panels on a pale pink card base, angling each panel just a bit differently so that all of the papers would be visible. Once they were in place, I added the bunny on top using foam tape, then arranged a trio of white sequins around the bunny. The "watch where you're pointing that thing" sentiment was stamped beneath the panels in Electric Coral ink.
Materials Used:
Feelin' Cupidy stamp set (The Cat's Pajamas); Memento Tuxedo Black and Radiant Neon Electric Coral inks (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet cardstock (Papertrey Ink); patterned papers (Basic Grey); white sequins; foam tape
