You're Brilliant
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I used my MFT light bulb die and coordinating Watt's Up set for the card.
I've been going to this yellow and gray color combination a lot lately. This time, I used a yellow panel on a pale gray card base. It was topped with a yellow polka dotted panel with rounded edges. I stamped the "you're brilliant" sentiment in silver inkon a dark gray pierced fishtail flag strip, then heat embossed the sentiment in silver for extra pop and sparkle. The die cut light bulb was set on top using foam tape. I added a trio of silver sequins for one final sparkly touch.
Materials Used:
Watt's Up stamp set, Grout Gray and Steel Grey cardstock, Die-namics Lightbulb and Pierced Fishtail Flag Stax dies (My Favorite Things); Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink (Tsukineko); Harvest Gold cardstock (Papertrey Ink); silver paper (Target); It's a Celebration 6x6 paper pad (Carta Bella); silver embossing powder (American Crafts); silver sequins; corner rounder; foam tape
