Donut What I'd Do

I put together this super sweet card using the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  Since it uses stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs, I'm also making it my entry in LID's first monthly meet up challenge.

Donut Know What I'd Do card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker DesignsThis is the first time I've used this cute donut set and it definitely won't be the last! I made a pair of iced donuts using the Eat More Donuts stamp set and coordinating Donuts dies.  The top layer was die cut from pale pink cardstock, then stamped with the matching image in white ink and heat embossed with white for a glazed appearance.

I set the donuts on a white panel over a strip of pink striped patterned paper.  Now that I'm writing this, I realize I should have used LID's On the Diagonal die to cut that diagonal strip  . . .   Anyway, I stamped the sentiment on the patterned paper in pink pigment ink, then heat embossed it in pink.  I layered the white panel on a rose cardstock mat, then adhered it to a pale pink card base.

Materials Used:
Eat More Donuts stamp set, Donuts dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress and Rose Bud inks (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Regal Rose and Pink Pirouette cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); Homefront 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); Snow embossing powder (Michaels); Grapefruit embossing powder (American Crafts); foam tape
