From Our House to Yours
Here's my card for this week's Muse challenge. As soon as I saw the inspiration card, I knew I wanted to use the CutUps Holiday Toppers dies from The Cat's Pajamas to make a monochromatic-ish winter shaker card.
To make my shaker element, I cut a rectangular opening from a white cardstock panel, then adhered a piece of clear acetate behind the opening. I framed the opening with a slightly smaller silver rectangle. The silhouette scene was die cut from dark gray cardstock, then set in the opening. I filled the shaker element with a mix of sparkly iridescent and silver sequins. The "from our house to yours" sentiment from the Round the Chimney set was stamped beneath the shaker in silver ink, then heat embossed for extra pop. I matted the panel on a piece of silver paper, then adhered it to a white card base using plenty of foam tape.
Materials Used:
Round the Chimney stamp set, CutUps Holiday Toppers dies (The Cat's Pajamas); Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Steel Grey cardstock (My Favorite Things); silver paper, sequins (Target); square dies (Spellbinders); foam tape
