Missing You

Over the past week, I've been working on getting some cards together to send to Operation Write Home.  This missing you card using the current sketch from Retro Sketches will be going in the package.

My focal image is the big eared bunny from the Hare Today set from The Cat's Pajamas.  I colored the bunny with Copic markers, then paper pieced the bunny's umbrella using a scrap of dotted patterned paper.  After matting the image on green cardstock, I adhered it to a piece of chevron patterned paper.  I ran a strip of coordinating blue cardstock across the panel, just beneath the umbrella image, then added a banner flag strip on top.  The "missing you" sentiment was stamped on a circle, then adhered to the end of the banner strip using foam tape.
