Stop Counting the Candles

I put together this birthday card based on the current Mojo Monday sketch.  I've had this Carta Bella birthday themed paper pad out on my table for a while now and it was just what I needed to go with a sentiment from the Sassy Birthday set from The Cat's Pajamas.

I stamped the birthday sentiment in aquamarine ink on a white panel and matted it on a lighter aqua cardstock panel.  It was adhered to a matching card base covered with candle patterned paper with a strip of festive star patterned paper along the left side.  The candle pattern was a perfect match for the sentiment!

Once the panels were in place, I added two contrasting solid cardstock banner strips, cut with one of TCP's CutUps Framed Up 2 dies, and a sparkly silver star, die cut with the CutUps 3x3 Stars die. The star was adhered with some foam tape for a little dimension and pop.
