You and Me
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I didn't do any stamping at all on my somewhat loose take on the sketch. MFT's Die-namics dies made it easy to put this one together!
Instead of using a rounded element on the right side of the panel, I used part of a heart die cut with the Pierced Heart Stax die. I adhered the heart to a piece of gray dotted patterned paper with a creamy background. To go with the heart, I die cut one of the arrows from the Straight to My Heart die set in black ink. The "you and me" text arrow was adhered so that the tip of the arrow overlapped the heart. Instead of arranging a trio of tiny elements underneath the sentiment, I scattered a few enamel dots around it. I matted the panel on black cardstock, then adhered it to a cream card base.
Materials Used:
Pierced Heart Stax and Straight to My Heart dies (My Favorite Things); Real Red and Basic Black cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Collecting Moments 6x6 paper pad (Fancy Pants); black enamel dots (Doodlebug Design)
