Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 259-My Heart Stops When You Look at Me

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  You'll notice a few changes in the challenge this week. For this week's challenge, we're inviting you to go back to our sketch archives (you can find them HERE) and pick a favorite sketch from the past and make a new card using the sketch.  I used SSSC 212.  You can see my original take on the sketch here.

For this version, I used stamps and dies from My Favorite Things.  I built my design on a piece of blue dotted patterned paper.  After adhering a strip of red cardstock along the left edge of the patterned paper panel, I added a cream strip near the bottom of the panel.  A sentiment from the Geek Is Chic set was stamped on the panel in gray pigment ink.  I due cut a pair of funky cat's eye glasses from a scrap of gray cardstock.  It doesn't show well in the photo, but I added acetate "lenses" to the glasses for a glass-like look.  I used foam tape to adhere the glasses to the top of the sentiment panel along with a shiny silver heart.  The finished panel was adhered to a cream card base.
