Sweet Thanks
I needed a few thank you cards this week, so I used the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches to put together a sweet thank you design.
The donuts were made with a donut die from Reverse Confetti. I was lazy and stamped the sprinkles on using pink pigment ink instead of gluing on individual tiny die cuts. I arranged the donuts on a white card base with a strip of pink dotted patterned paper along the left edge. I stamped the "sweet thanks" sentiment from Reverse Confetti's Donut You Know set in brown pigment ink on a banner strip, then used foam tape to adhere the finished sentiment strip over the donuts. I added a bit of sparkle with some pink sequins arranged around the donuts and sentiment. And, the card has already made its way to its recipient--a sweet kindergarten student who brought me an owl necklace to mark the end of our kindergarten year together!
Materials Used:
Donut You Know stamp set, Confetti Cuts Tag Me and Donut You Know dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Luxe Rose Bud and Rich Cocoa inks (IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko); Raspberry Fizz cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); Pink Pirouette cardstock (Stampin' Up!); pink dotted patterned paper (Michaels); pink sequins (Treehouse Studio); foam tape
