The Challenge returns today after our summer break! This week's challenge features a sketch. I rotated the layout for my fall design.
I just got some stamps from Lawn Fawn's latest release and couldn't wait to ink up the adorable scarecrow image from the Happy Harvest set. I colored him up with Copic markers, then carefully cut him out. He was adhered to a blue panel stamped with the set's cornstalk image using foam tape. To give the scene more dimension and so that it looked like he was standing in a field, I layered the sentiment strip--edged with a grass border punch--over the panel using more foam tape. Now that I look at it again, I probably should have added a sun in one of the panel's top corners . . . I matted the image panel on orange cardstock, then adhered it to a kraft panel with a strip of orange patterned paper at the bottom.
