The Challenge 42-Teacher Thank You

*** Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch! ***

The Challenge is back again with a new challenge!  This week we've got a color challenge for you featuring red, dark aqua, light aqua, and pink.  I love aqua and red together--that's probably one of my favorite color combinations!  I ended up using the colors along with new stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs and the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for a teacher themed design.

Teacher Thank You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
Being a teacher, I can't resist a teacher or school themed stamp and die set and this one's great!  I used mostly die cuts here, assembling the apple on a pink stitched circle die cut, then adhering the circle to a pale aqua cardstock panel.  The apple was topped with the word "teacher," die cut from dark aqua cardstock.  I stamped "thank you" from the Teacher Talk stamp set beneath the die cut word in matching ink.  The finished panel was adhered to a white card base.

Check out what the rest of the talented team at The Challenge has created based on this week's sketch.  Here's where to find them:

Lesley Croghan, challenge creator
Alanna Moses, September featured designer
Allison Kostiuk, guest designer

Materials Used:
Teacher Talk stamp set, Apple Pieces, Teacher Word, and Stitched Circle dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Aquamarine ink (Avery Elle); Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, and Sweet Blush cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9)
