SugarPea Designs October Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop
Hello, Crafty Friends! It’s time again for our monthly, Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop! Now that so many of you have our Fall Product Release in your hot little hands, our Pod Squad of designers have geared up to inspire you with even MORE creative possibilities featuring all of the newest and hottest products from SugarPea Designs!
I pulled out the Adorkable and Noted sets for my card. When I used these sets for last month's Sweet Peek, my card had more of a Halloween feel. This time, I did a love themed design. I colored the scientist image with Copic markers, then cut it out. After stamping the notebook lines from the Noted set on a white panel, I cut the stamped panel with the SugarCuts Notebook Journal Card die. The scientist was adhered to the panel using foam tape.
I adhered the image panel to a red cardstock panel on an angle over a strip of gray dotted paper. The "I'm mad about you" sentiment was stamped on a pale gray cardstock strip and adhered to the panel over the right side of the notebook paper panel. I anchored the panel with a pair of silver brads. A pair of red hearts, cut with the SugarCuts Heart Journal Card die, completed the design.
