The Challenge 46-A Bushel and a Peck

*** Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Mojo Monday challenge!  ***

The Challenge is back again with a new challenge!  This week we've got a color challenge for you featuring crimson, yellow, kraft, and red.  I paired the colors with the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches (designed by my challenge teammate, Kim!) for this sweet fall card.

A Bushel and a Peck card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from My Favorite Things
I can't get enough of the adorable Harvest Mouse set from My Favorite Things, so I made one of the set's mice front and center in my design.  The apple-holding mouse was colored with Copic markers, then cut out and adhered to a cream panel with some torn kraft "ground" using foam tape for dimension.  I stamped the set's "I love you a bushel and a peck" sentiment on a cream panel, then tied some kraft twine beneath the text.  I matted the image panel, the sentiment panel, and a strip of apple patterned paper on crimson cardstock, then arranged them on a kraft card base.

Check out what the rest of the talented team at The Challenge has created using this week's color combination.  Here's where to find them:

Lesley Croghan, challenge creator
Shona Chambers, October featured designer
Mary Valente, guest designer

Materials Used:
Harvest Mouse stamp set (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Cherry Cobbler cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); Apple Cheddar Soup 6x6 paper pad (Jillibean Soup); twine; foam tape
