Welcome to Day 2 of January Sweet Peek Week at Sugar Pea Designs! If you missed Day 1, be sure to check out the details HERE on the SPD blog. Today we're showing off the new Timber stamp set and SugarCuts Log Cabin Mountainscape die.
I used the stamp set and die to make a fun Valentine's Day shaker card. The Log Cabin Mountainscape die helped to form the backdrop for my shaker element. I die cut it from shimmery white cardstock, then colored the elements with Copic markers. The colored piece was adhered to a blue background. I added a bit of white Diamond Dust as snow and sealed it between the image and the contrasting red frame. I adhered the frame to a kraft plaid embossed panel, then added the colored mountain man from the Timber set on top. It's hard to tell in the photo, but his beard is coated with some white flock for a fuzzy texture. So fun! I stamped the "wood you be my Valentine?" sentiment in red ink on a kraft banner strip and wrapped the end with a bit of twine, then adhered it at the top of the shaker element. The finished panel was adhered to a dark brown card base.
