Just Because I Love You

Here's my card for April's first Viva la Verve sketch.  I made a simple "just because" card based on the sketch.

Just Because I Love You card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps
I mixed and matched a few different sentiment stamps from Verve's Take Note set for the focal image sentiment panel.  The words were stamped in red ink on the light blue panel.  I matted the panel on a navy pierced rectangle, then adhered it to a light blue textured cardstock panel wrapped with some airmail baker's twine.  To accent the panel, I stamped the set's envelope image on white cardstock and cut it out, then adhered it to the lower left corner of the sentiment panel using foam tape.  The envelope works well with the airmail twine!  I added a pair of hearts, too, and accented each with a single silver sequin.  The finished panel was adhered to a coordinating navy card base.

Materials Used:
Take Note stamp set, Heart Quartet dies (Verve Stamps); Memento Love Letter and Tuxedo Black inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, and Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Starmist textured cardstock (Bazzill); Airmail baker's twine (Divine Twine); silver sequins; foam tape
