The Challenge is back with a new challenge! Since it's the first Monday of the month, we're featuring a sketch challenge this week.
I used the sketch to create a sweet love themed design with stamps and dies from Avery Elle. I made the long panel into water. The wavy top was made with two different sized circle punches. I alternated the two sizes and switched up the amount of paper I punched out with each circle to get the variation in the "waves." The panel was adhered to a lighter blue card base, then topped with one of the whale images from the Whale Done set. I paired the whale with two tiny die cut red hearts, cut with dies borrowed from my Hogs and Kisses dies. To bring in a bit more red, I stamped the "I love you deeply" sentiment just above the wavy panel in red pigment ink.
Check out what the rest of the talented team at The Challenge has created based on this week's sketch. Here's where to find them:
Rachel Bergfeld
Greta Hess, April's featured designer
Materials Used:
Whale Done stamp set, Sea Glass cardstock, Whale Done and Hogs and Kisses dies (Avery Elle); Memento Tuxedo Black and Memento Luxe Love Letter inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Pacific Point and Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); circle punches (EK Success); foam tape
This is so cute. The sentiment is perfect. TFS
