The Challenge is back with a new challenge! Next up in our challenge rotation is a color combination. This week's floral inspired combination features light blue, green, dark blue, and yellow.
I tried to resist creating a floral design, but in the end, I gave in! My flowers are from the Paper Smooches Best Buds set. I stamped them in black pigment ink on watercolor paper, then heat embossed the image before using Zig Clean Color markers and an aquabrush to color them in.
After matting the image on green cardstock, I added it to a light blue panel over a piece of cheery yellow dotted patterned paper. I accented the blooms with a wood veneer button tied with a bit of navy blue ribbon. I thought about adding a sentiment, but decided not to. I may add one to the inside of the card . . .
