Have a Star-Spangled Day

Here's my card for the current TCP Tuesday challenge at The Cat's Pajamas with a red, white, blue, and a bit of sparkle, too theme.  I paired the colors with the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches for this patriotic design.

Have a Star-Spangled Day card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from The Cat's Pajamas
The big eared bunny from TCP's Aim High set is my focal image.  I colored the bunny just a bit with Copic markers and carefully cut him out, then used foam tape to adhere him to the edge of the blue panel.  For sparkle, I stamped the set's "have a star-spangled day" sentiment in silver ink, then heat embossed it in silver.  I also added a trio of glittery silver stars cut with TCP's CutUps 3x3 Stars die to the panel.  The panel was matted on contrasting red cardstock, then adhered to a white panel.  The layered panels were adhered to a coordinating red card base.

Materials Used:
Aim High stamp set, CutUps 3x3 Stars dies (The Cat's Pajamas); Memento Tuxedo Black and Delicata Silvery Shimmer inks (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Pacific Point and Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); silver glitter cardstock (Michaels); silver embossing powder (Hero Arts); foam tape
