Mojo Monday 468-Coffee Helps

Coffee Helps card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps

Happy Monday!  It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch.   I put together a coffee themed design, which seems especially appropriate for a Monday, doesn't it?

I filled most of the layout's square panel with the "life happens, coffee helps" sentiment from Verve's Coffee Helps stamp set.  I stamped the to go cup image from the Better with You set and colored it with Copic markers, then cut it out and used foam tape to adhere it to the panel.  I matted the panel on kraft cardstock, then adhered it to a pale green cardstock panel with a fun patterned paper panel along the bottom half.  The patterned panel was edged with a delicate kraft scalloped strip.  I probably should have added a blue strip to bring in a big more blue along with the strip I used at the top left corner of the image panel.  A teeny tiny kraft tag, tied with some cream thread, completed the design.

Don't forget--since it's the first Monday of the month, it's also contest time.  A stamp set from Verve Stamps is up for grabs from the lucky contest winners, so be sure to play along.  Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:
