Warmest Thanks

When I saw the yummy inspiration photo at Inspired by All the Little Things, I couldn't resist playing along!  I took my inspiration from the photo's color scheme and goodie-filled jar.

Warmest Thanks card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Clear and Simple Stamps
My jar is a mason jar made by combining images from the Clear and Simple Stamps Well Preserved Jars: Large and Well Preserved Jars: Cocoa stamp sets.  With a little masking, it was easy to add the ribbon wrapped top to the large jar and fill it with the cocoa packets and chocolate spoon image.  I colored the image with Copic markers, then carefully cut it out.  After placing a rich red snowflake patterned paper panel on a piece of kraft cardstock, I added the jar on top, using foam tape for dimension.  I stamped the "warmest wishes" sentiment in white pigment ink on a brown cardstock strip, then heat embossed the text for a bold pop against the dark background.  After edging the strip with some cream trim, I added it to the bottom of the patterned panel, tucking one end underneath the raised jar.  The finished panel was adhered to a red card base.

Materials Used:
Well Preserved Jars:  Large and Well Preserved Jars:  Cocoa stamp sets, Rouge Ruffles, Espresso Your Style, and Kraft Like a Rockstar cardstock (Clear and Simple Stamps); Memento Luxe Wedding Dress and Memento Tuxedo Black inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic);Season's Greetings 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); cream trim (Hobby Lobby); foam tape
