Thisssss Much

Here's my card for this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I made a sweet, love themed design featuring the Pandamonium set from Mama Elephant.

I stamped one of the set's pandas on white cardstock and cut out the image with the matching die.  I used foam tape to place the image on a long light blue cardstock panel.  I stamped and colored a balloon for the panda to hold.  It was positioned at the top of the panel using foam tape, too.  I used the set's balloon string image to connect the panda and balloon, stamping it twice to extend the length of the string.  I didn't do the greatest job of lining up the image or stamping it exactly where I wanted it, but it didn't bother me enough to restamp the panel . . .

After matting the image on contrasting red cardstock, I tucked a scrap of red gingham patterned paper underneath the panel's right edge.  I adhered the image panel to a white cardstock panel, then used my MISTI to stamp the set's "I love you thisssss much" sentiment along the left side of the image panel.  The finished panel was adhered to a red card base.
