Mojo Monday 384-I {heart} U

I {heart} U card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-dies from Clear and Simple Stamps

Happy Monday!  It's time for a new Mojo Monday sketch. My card is a pretty literal interpretation of the sketch, right down to the cluster of heart embellishments.

I used dies and paper from Clear and Simple Stamps to put this one together.  I used lowercase alphabet dies to cut out an "i" and a "u" from pale pink cardstock squares, then inlaid the letters in shiny white pearl cardstock.  The third pink square was filled in by a heart that I adhered with foam tape.  After matting the letter and heart filled squares on the same pearly white cardstock, I placed them on a contrasting bright pink cardstock square set at the top of a pale pink cardstock panel.  A strip of white ribbon along the left side of the panel breaks up all of the pink and adds a bit of texture, too.  I cut three more hearts using CSS's Shapes:  Hearts dies and arranged those in the open space on the bright pink square to finish the card.  I only got three to fit, but the idea's still there!

Head on over to the Mojo Monday blog for more inspiration from the design team and to add your own take on this week's sketch!  You can also find all of the Mojo Makers at their blogs here:
