Sending You Love

Sending You Love card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs
I needed an easy to mail card for Valentine's Day, so I used the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches to put together this clean and simple--and pretty flat--design using stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs. I combined text stamps from two sets, Special Delivery and Espresso Yourself, to create my own sentiment, stamped in red ink on a white panel.  The gray envelope was created with the Special Delivery Accents dies.  I used foam tape to adhere it to the card.  Even with the bit of added dimension, it's not too thick to make it through the mail easily. I matted the panel on red cardstock, then added two red heart washi tape tabs to the left edge before adhering it to a gray cardstock panel. The finished panel was adhered to a contrasting red card base.

Materials Used:
Special Delivery and Espresso Yourself stamp sets, Special Delivery Accents dies (SugarPea Designs); Memento Love Letter ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Grout Gray cardstock (My Favorite Things); Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); red heart washi tape (Target); foam tape
