Baby Girl Blog Hop

I'm super excited to be participating in a blog hop today to mark a very special occasion!  My dear friend Lesley Croghan will be welcoming a sweet baby girl soon and we're celebrating the big event with a blog hop full of baby cards in her honor.  I've been lucky to get to know Lesley through my time as a team member on her challenge blogs.  Over the years, we've chatted a lot about our sweet fur babies and our teaching careers and I'm so excited about this new adventure she's about to have. She's going to be an amazing mommy!

The Little Things card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs
My contribution to the hop features stamps and dies from SugarPea Designs.  To keep things super girly, I went with a monochromatic pink color scheme.  The onesie from the Welcome Baby set is my focal image.  I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out with the matching die, then used foam tape to adhere it to a zig zag stitched circle die cut.  I layered the circle on to a pink card base over a pink dotted patterned paper panel accented with a strip of super soft velvety ribbon.  The "it's the little things that make life big" sentiment from the Bundle of Joy set was stamped on a long flag die cut and positioned on the card so one end was tucked underneath the onesie.  So true, right?

To check out the rest of the hop, visit Lori Turner's blog here. She's done a fantastic job coordinating all of this behind the scene so that we could honor our special friend--thanks, Lori!
